Abstract:
The goal of this research project was to replicate literature findings in fluvial geomorphology examining the coupling relationship between channel hillslope and drainage basin area. Furthermore, I sought to develop hydrological geospatial analysis skills, learning how to dissect and analyze watersheds and river basins. Using landslide and DEM datasets, this study looked at various processes of watershed delineation, flow routing, and channel segmentation for two river basins in Haida Gwaii.
